Road Trip done, Return to CMS

Hello all. Haven't updated in a while, wasn't sure what format this blog would take. The Barnstormers just finished their second road trip of the season. It looked bleak at first, losing the first two at Camden. However, the team reeled off 4 wins in a row, two at Camden to split that series, and then the first two at Southern Maryland, winning that series 2 games to 1. The starting pitching was the story in the four game winning streak, particularly the games at Southern Maryland. Ben Fritz pitched seven shutout innings, striking out 8 while only allowing 3 hits, in a no-decision on Tuesday night, and Wednesday night Jose Sanchez recorded a win, pitching 6 innings and only giving up one run. The team is currently 9-10, however, they are only 1.5 games behind first place Somerset. The team starts a homestand Friday night against Camden, featuring Firework nights both Friday and Saturday! See you at the ballpark!
